COACHING FOR YOUNG ADULTS
Adulthood doesn’t come with instructions. Especially when your brain works differently.
Maybe you finished high school and everyone stopped telling you what comes next. Maybe you’re in college, or working, or in that in-between place nobody talks about. You want friends, some independence, a direction, and everybody keeps saying “you’ll figure it out” like that’s a plan.
This is coaching for figuring it out on purpose.
WHAT WE WORK ON
Whatever adulthood is asking of you right now. That usually means some mix of three things.
Friendships and social life
Making friends as an adult is genuinely harder than anyone admits, and there’s no built-in classroom to meet people anymore. We work on where to find your people and what to do once you have.
Independent living
The unglamorous skills that make life run: schedules, appointments, money basics, keeping up with a home, asking for things you need.
What’s next
Work, school, or something else. Figuring out what you actually want, not what sounds acceptable when relatives ask.
You pick the goals. This is your life we’re organizing, not anyone else’s plan for it.
HOW IT WORKS
We meet virtually, one on one. Sessions are practical: we pick something real, break it into steps that actually fit how your brain works, and you leave knowing exactly what you’re doing before we talk again.
No worksheets pretending to be life. No scripts to memorize. Skills practiced in real moments, on real goals.
Cameras optional. Awkward silences fully permitted. Showing up as yourself is the point.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Neurodivergent young adults, roughly 18 into your twenties. No diagnosis or referral required. If you’ve never quite fit and you’re tired of pretending the standard advice works for you, you’re in the right place.
FOR PARENTS
You’re welcome to reach out first, and lots of families start that way. Two things to know going in.
The work belongs to your young adult. They set the goals, they own the progress, and what happens in coaching stays between us unless they choose to share it. Ownership is what makes it work.
And this is coaching, guided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with 18+ years of experience across teens and adults. It is not therapy, and it doesn’t replace mental health care where that’s needed.
